The church of Tokkummaa warra Hoolaa fi Leencaa is a church with truly remarkable history and testimony of God’s faithfulness and indestructible purpose.

Though relatively young, she has gone through her share of battles and up and downs. In spite of intense opposition and doom saying, she has emerged victorious with God’s amazing supply of grace.

She was born on Oct. 10th, 2001. With only a few people in her core group, the first vision casting and official announcement of establishment took place at a rented space at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since then, with just a handful of people who believed in the vision, despite all the odds against it, we have been journeying an amazing road with the God of provision and victory.

With the vision of restoring the authority of the word of God and the presences and supremacy of the Holy Spirit in his church, TWHL has made much advance. Her windy road has brought her many friends and foes alike.

In the process of finding the right location of worship for our members, we came in contact with many wonderful churches that had opened their doors to welcome us and allowed us to nest under their wings. Such churches as Hope evangelical free, in Minneapolis, church of God of prophecy, in Minneapolis, and Wait park Wesleyan church, in north east Minneapolis, had played an unforgettable part in our growth. We are immensely grateful to their Pastors, leadership team and their entire congregation at large. Our prayer for them is that the God of all blessings will pour out his blessing in all aspects of their ministries.

After three and half years, God in his infinite wisdom had brought us in contact with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. A denomination entirely dedicated to reaching the world for Christ. Since the mid 2005, we have been partnering in advancing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God and the generosity of C&MA, we now have our own building right in the middle of our ministry area. May all the glory go to our God, whose faithfulness reaches the heavens, for his abundant mercy and grace he has shown us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our friends who have been supporting us in their prayers and have been giving sacrificially to the success of this church.
